Initial Counseling (IC) is mandatory for ALL separating & retiring Service members, NLT 365 days prior to separation/retirement from military service.  The IC determines a Service member's preparedness for transition and to establish a transition plan.**Cancellation Policy: Must cancel 48hrs in advance**

*IMPORTANT* Instructions will be emailed prior to scheduled appointment so account must have a valid & reachable phone number, personal & duty email addresses. 

**MEB Service members DO NOT REGISTER FOR AN IC, EMAIL 375fss.afrc.tap@us.af.mil subject line TAP MEB to request a 1:1 appointment**

IC MUST be completed prior to Pre-Separation Counseling.  This step is REQUIRED FOR ALL SERVICE MEMBERS - NO EXEMPTIONS.
